At Bournemouth University, we want to help you shape your future - wherever it may take you.
Our courses are designed with direct input from employers and we recognise the importance of work experience as part of a degree, which is why every UG Honours degree student has the opportunity to undertake a work placement as part of their course. Here’s how we’ll help you develop the skills and flexibility you need to succeed throughout your career:
Perhaps all this is why we’ve moved 11 places up to 54th in The Complete University Guide (2015), placing us 4th in the southwest.
Gain real-world experience
We have links with hundreds of companies across a range of industries, in the UK and abroad.
To find out more about where you may go on a placement, take a look at the relevant course pages to see which organisations we work with.
Students on health and social care courses will be placed at various NHS hospitals and medical centres throughout the south west.
