Research at Nottingham Business School

Research is crucial in ensuring the vitality and health of the academic subjects we teach. It not only serves to advance management knowledge, it underpins and enriches our teaching and learning.

Our commitment to research is reflected in the results of the recent research assessment exercise RAE2008. With more than 30 staff submitted, NBS had one of the largest submissions for a post-1992 university and 80% was graded as being of international standard, with almost one third graded in the top two bands of 3* (Internationally Excellent) and 4* (World Leading).
