The Top Programme Biomolecular Sciences is a selective track of the Master's degree programme in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and will educate you at an advanced level.

The Top Programme in the MSc Molecular Biology &Biotechnology prepares you for conducting top quality research in the field of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. The research you will be engaged in during the programme is closely connected to theGroningen Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology Institute (GBB),This research institute has an international reputation within thecovering field of synthetic biology.
During this programme you get the chance to contributeon biobased solutions for societal challenges inchemistry, energy, and health. You will acquire topquality research competences and become highly attractive for aresearch career in the area of Biomolecular Sciences. Your careerwill either start with a PhD research or at an R&Dinstitution.  
One semester of comprehensive courses must be successfullycompleted in order to receive the special annotation of the TopProgramme on the diploma supplement for Molecular Biology andBiotechnology. Admission is highly selective.
