Do you aspire to become a medical doctor with a profound understanding of the molecular mechanisms that cause disease?

You want to become a medical doctor. You are fascinated bythe molecular mechanisms that go wrong during disease, and want tounderstand these. You may want to become a doctor who contributesto new treatments that have originated from your ownresearch.

Just like all students in the Bachelor program ofMedicine, Molecular Medicine students learn all the medicalknowledge that it takes to become a good doctor. In addition,Molecular Medicine students learn how science works, and howscientific discoveries make their way to patients. Every threeweeks you work on a different assignment. For example, you learn toisolate DNA, and to detect a mutation in a patient. You use yourimagination to create a new therapy for metabolic disorders. You learn to explain complex molecular information to children. Youwrite research proposals, and you learn to read and writescientific publications.

This is an international Program, where around 30% of thestudents originates from outside of the Netherlands. We teach inEnglish. Your English should be sufficient to communicate, but doesnot need to be perfect.

If you feel attracted to this Program, we hope that you joinMolecular Medicine.
