If you are not a native speaker of English, you will need toprovide proof of English language proficiency:

  • TOEFL: 100 (all sections need to be at least 21; the writingsection needs to be at least 23)
  • IELTS: 7.0 (all sections need to be at least 6.0; the writingsection needs to be at least 6.5)
  • CAE or CPE
  • Applicants who are taking/have completed an English-taughtbachelor programme at a Dutch research university are exempt fromtaking an English proficiency test.

The test scores cannot be older than two years.
