International Foundation Year - Business Route, International Foundation Year

Course content

The International Foundation Year - Business Route is a one-year foundation year (level 0) programme taught at National Qualification Framework (NQF) level 3. This level 0 programme provides a firm grounding in the subjects required for the students intended undergraduate degree programmes. Those who successfully complete the International Foundation Year by achieving specific grades are admitted to level 1 of one of a wide range of business-related undergraduate degree programmes offered by the University of Leeds. Course structure

The course is a 9-month, 3-term programme. It runs from September to mid-June of the next year. You will study academic study skills as well as subject specific content. Subject specific modules are taught by Leeds University academic staff and tailored to your chosen degree, so you can be sure that you are fully prepared to start your degree programme.

  For entry to programmes below degree level we are only able to accept English Language qualifications which are listed as UKVI approved SELT's and taken in approved test centres.

  IELTS 6.0 overall, with no less than 5.0 in each component. For entry to programmes below degree level we can only accept English Language qualifications which are UKVI approved SELTs (Secure English Language Tests) and taken in approved test centres.
