Overseas students find our Art and Design programmes both challenging and exciting, not just for our state-of-the-art technology but also the opportunity to blend technology with traditional methods. Modules are designed to help you gain employment skills and in the third year of an undergraduate degree you are encouraged to enter national and international art and design competitions and undertake external projects that apply your individual creativity, extend your portfolio and your professional profile. UWTSD Swansea College of Art has an excellent range of visiting lecturers, regularly holds conferences and symposia that give you a much broader understanding of art and design.
All three of our main campuses have on-site ‘halls’ or student accommodation, with many of these rooms prioritised for first year students.We have a range of different types of accommodation available, but all offering a safe and secure but independent ‘home away from home’ while you study.
Living on campus puts you at the heart of student life, and students in our accommodation benefit from a wide variety of on campus services.

UWTSD has great facilities for the photograpgy programmes. You can borrow all types of photography equipment which is great for aspiring photographers. Experimenting is key, the lecturers encourage us to use our own thoughts and ideas.
