Dr Claudio Canaparo Latin American studies; historiography and the art of writing; 19th-century cartography; history of ideas; science studies; vision, optics and cinematography in post-industrial societies; sociology of knowledge; post-rational philosophy.
Dr Nuria Capdevila-Argüelles Women and feminism in 20th-century Spain; García Lorca; politics of representation, difference and female literary and artistic subjectivity in modern Spain.
Dr Sally Faulkner Spanish cinema; literary adaptations and 1960s ‘New Spanish Cinema’.
Professor Derek Flitter 19th-century intellectual history, most specifically in Spanish romanticism and its relationship with other periods of Spanish literature and ideas.
Richard Mansell Catalan studies; translation studies.
Dr Melisa Moore Latin American literature, culture and cultural theory; the avant-garde and female avant-garde of the 1920s and 1930s in Peru, Mexico and Argentina; anthropological and literary work of José María Arguedas.
Dr Katharine Murphy Comparative literature, particularly Spanish and English Modernism; Pío Baroja and the Generation of 1898; painting and music in the Modernist novel.
