About Critical Global Studies, MSc - at University of Exeter

The programme focuses on the theory and practice of contemporary forms of resistance politics from an interdisciplinary perspective including political theory, sociology, political science and international relations. More specifically, it seeks to inquire into the conditions which gave rise to these agents; to identify and critically interrogate their political practices; and to explore the real and potential impact that these practices may have on global politics more generally. In addition to empirically mapping these forms of political agency, it seeks to reflect on their theoretical significance in light of contemporary debates around the nature of politics, justice and globalisation.

Entry requirements Normally a 2:1 Honours degree or above. Undergraduate degrees in Politics or a relevant social science subject are preferable for many of the programmes but not a requirement in all cases.
