About Landscape Management (Land Use), BSc (Hons) - at University of Greenwich

The aim of this degree is to provide graduates with a sound knowledge base and well balanced range of scientific, technical and management skills focused on the management of landscape - both urban and rural - for conservation, leisure, amenity and access. Throughout the programme, students will gain an understanding of environmental impact assessment, the processes of mitigation and their strategic implementation. It provides a high quality broad-based training experience in landscape management, ensuring that graduates are not restricted in their eventual choice of career. Students are prepared for the long-term care and development of new and existing landscapes, as well as determining policy and planning for future management. All students undertake a final year project on a professional theme of their choice.
