About Modern Architectural Heritage , MA - at University of Liverpool

This programme offers advanced study in the history of twentieth-century architecture and in the evaluation and management of modern architectural heritage. You will benefit from one-to-one staff/student contact and from involvement with live and on-going architectural heritage issues, taught by a team of internationally recognised scholars working in association with the Twentieth Century Society and other Statutory Amenity Groups.

From the base in Finsbury Square, close to the cultural centre of the Barbican and the financial centre of the City of London, the programme will build links with leading architectural practices and conservation organisations, drawing upon and feeding into the unique wealth of knowledge and expertise available locally. You will be well-positioned for using the RIBA Library, the British Library, London Metropolitan Archives, the Guildhall Library and the Museum of London.

Entry requirements

You will normally need to have a Bachelors degree (with Honours) at 2.1 level or better in an appropriate field of study. A wide range of subjects is acceptable but please contact us if you wish to check whether your degree subject is suitable. Candidates who do not meet these requirements will be considered on their individual merits and should discuss their particular circumstances with the programme contact. ENGLISH LANGUAGE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each component). TOEFL iBT 88 or above with minimum scores in components as follows: Listening and Writing 21, Reading 22, Speaking 23. International Baccalaureate Standard Level (Grade 5) Hong Kong use of English AS level C INDIA Standard XII 70% or above from Central and Metro State Boards WAEC C4-6
