The School of Electronic & Electrical Engineering is one of five Schools in the Faculty of Engineering, one of the UK's top engineering and computing faculties.

Originally founded in 1898, the School of Electronic & Electrical Engineering at the University of Leeds rapidly established an international reputation for excellence in both teaching and research.

Over one hundred years later, we continue to lead the way. In the latest UK government Research Assessment Exercise, the School is ranked number 1 in the UK with an impressive 80% of research activity rated as internationally excellent or world leading.
